About the Role
We are looking for a Data Engineer to join a dynamic GlobalMarkets data team supporting the Front Office with high-quality datainsights and analytics.The mission of this team is to build a robust scalable data ecosystemintegrating multiple data sources and delivering actionable insightsthrough dashboards reports APIs and data-driven solutions all in a fast-pacedagile environment.
You will work closely with business stakeholders salesteams and traders shaping data solutions that directly support businessdecisions. The role combines data engineering data analysis andvisualization with a strong focus on Python SQL and modern datapipelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Process and analyze large volumes of data from multiple internal sources
- Design develop and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes
- Act as a key contact for business stakeholders translating business needs into technical solutions
- Ensure data architecture aligns with business and performance requirements
- Optimize data processes ensuring data quality efficiency and scalability
- Proactively suggest improvements to deliver added business value through data
Technical Requirements
- Academic background in Computer Science Engineering or related fields
- Strong experience with Python (especially Pandas)
- Solid knowledge of SQL and ETL processes
- Experience optimizing data workflows (query performance memory management)
- Hands-on experience in Data Engineering and/or Data Analysis
- Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
- Experience with Git (preferably Bitbucket)
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (e.g. Jenkins)
- Interest or experience in financial markets is a strong plus

Additional Information
- Hybrid working model: up to 50% remote work per month
- Onboarding period: first 4 to 8 weeks fully on-site (depending on progression)
