SUPPLY CHAIN CONSULTANT - CENTRAL INVENTORY MANAGEMENT (HYBRID PORTO)

Location: Porto Portugal

Only candidates already based in Portugal will be considered

Work Model: Hybrid (23 days per week in the office)

Language Requirements: Fluent English (mandatory) and Portuguese

We can consider candidates fromany region of Portugal provided they are available to travel to Portosporadically only when truly necessary.

To be more specific whennecessary the travel will be approximately 1 to 2 days per month. However weemphasize that trips will only take place if they are effectively justified.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in Supply Chain Management projects and continuous improvement initiatives to prepare operations for current and future business requirements.
• Contribute to the definition and implementation of excellence processes standards and best practices within Supply Chain Management.
• Support multiple departments in the implementation of operational changes and project execution.
• Help define and implement Supply Chain standards and governance models.
• Support the development and deployment of SCM-related IT systems and digital solutions.
• Promote and implement process excellence initiatives including Integrated Business Planning (IBP) and other continuous improvement programs.
• Manage and support the continuous improvement process including maintaining the benefits database and sharing best practices for centralized inventory management.
• Define implement and monitor KPIs and OPIs to ensure operational efficiency and performance visibility.
• Provide a structured demand coordination framework across teams and stakeholders.
• Develop innovative supply chain solutions to meet customer needs and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Supply Chain Consultant ideally with focus on Central Inventory Management or similar roles.
• Proven experience with global material flow management including process design and system rollouts.
• Experience in project management and change management.
• Previous consulting experience within supply chain environments.
• Strong financial acumen and analytical capabilities.
