About the jobGroup Portfolio Lead Personal Lines

Portfolio Management is an important priority for Tryg as part of our 2027 Strategy within Technical Excellence. Your job is to ensure delivery on the strategic agenda for Personal Lines at Tryg working in close collaboration with the Business Units. You will do this through three primary areas of focus:

  1. Supporting each Business Unit in achieving excellent Portfolio Management
  2. Facilitating knowledge sharing and the adoption of best practices across Tryg
  3. Maintaining an ongoing dialogue and structured follow-up with Business Units on performance including assessing results and developing solutions to challenges across Trygs main portfolios.

The role offers great opportunities for the right candidate to influence the agenda and challenge the status quo. It is a position with high visibility and demanding expectations and it requires both curiosity and strong stakeholder management skills. You will be supported by a skilled and experienced team working closely together to develop the solutions required to succeed.

The role is based at one of Trygs offices in Ballerup Bergen Malmö or Stockholm depending on your country of residence. Limited travel should be expected.

About you An experienced technical profile who knows how to get things done

You are an experienced insurance professional who is ambitious and motivated by applying your expertise across Tryg. We imagine that you bring the following qualifications:

  • Several years of experience as a Portfolio Manager or in a similar technical role
  • Preferably leadership experience and/or experience from a Group function
  • A strong sense of ownership and the ability to challenge and drive performance and results in a complex stakeholder landscape
  • A theoretical education at Masters level
  • An analytical and strategic mindset with the ability to navigate both detail and the broader perspective
  • Excellent communication skills both orally and in writing in English as well as native fluency in a Scandinavian language
  • Resilience and the ability to deliver across multiple agendas simultaneously often within short deadlines.

You will join Group Portfolio Management within Trygs central PPU organization where we collaborate closely with the Business Units to continuously strengthen our Underwriting performance. We also support the Board of Directors by providing guidance on Trygs strategic direction for Underwriting and on the performance of Trygs portfolios.
