This position requires strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and respond to maintenance requests from building occupants. You will also perform routine preventative maintenance and complete necessary repairs to support the ongoing operational efficiency of the one of the regions top employers and be part of something that truly makes a Arrangements: This is an in-office role. You will work in our office in Waterloo ON 100% of the youll do:Maintaining building HVAC units ensuring comfort for all employees (large building which has three separate sections due to additions over the years)General grounds maintenance including snow removal and landscapingOffice setup and movesSet-up of meeting roomsFurniture and ergonomic equipment installationsGeneral building maintenance including:Minor electrical and plumbing repairsEquipment serviceGeneral janitorial dutiesMinor furniture repairs as requiredWork after regular hours as required (Snow removal on-call phone duty)Conduct scheduled preventative maintenance activities on all building systemsProcessing 30-40 maintenance requests dailyWhat youll bring:Building Environmental Systems certificate or equivalency along with 3 years of experience in building maintenance andoperationStrong knowledge and understanding of Building Automation Systems and all relevant Environmental Health & SafetylegislationAbility to organize and prioritize with little directionLandscaping experience and knowledgeComputer skills includes use of Excel Word OutlookA valid drivers license is an assetAbility to multitask in a fast-paced environmentAbility to work effectively in a team environmentProven relevant mechanical/electrical aptitude and trouble-shooting skillsAccuracy and attention to detailsAbility to deliver efficient and responsive customer serviceConfidentiality of all client records and documentationWhats in it for you:Career Growth: Regular learning sessions and developmentopportunitiesTotal Rewards: Incentive pay annual salary reviews employer-paid benefits and pensionmatchingTime Away: Competitive vacation plus one paid volunteer day each yearFlexibility: Healthy work-life balance with employee wellness always top of mind complemented by a dress for your day approachAt Equitable were committed to fair pay and an inclusive accessible hiring experience.
