Job Summary

A well-established cable and wire manufacturing company in Santa Teresa is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join its production team on the 3rd shift.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

Set up and operate extrusion and drawing machinery following established guidelines and specifications.
Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments to maintain product quality and production efficiency.
Inspect finished products for defects and ensure they meet quality standards and customer specifications.
Perform routine maintenance cleaning and troubleshooting of machines to minimize downtime.
Follow all safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
Maintain accurate records of machine settings production data and maintenance activities.
Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to meet production goals and resolve issues.
Assist other operators and support team efforts as needed.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational or technical training preferred.
Minimum 1 year experience operating production machinery preferably in a manufacturing setting.
Strong attention to detail and quality control skills.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and work instructions.
Basic math skills and proficiency with measurement tools.
Ability to stand for long periods lift up to 50 pounds and work in a noisy fast-paced environment.
Reliable safety-conscious and team-oriented.
Must be able to work Monday- Wednesday or Wednesday-Saturday 7pm-7am. Training will be for one week Monday- Friday 3:30pm-12:00am.
