Job Summary

Job description:

We are currently looking for a Scale Clerk/Forklift Driver for a local scrap yard in Selmer Tn.

Pay is $15hr

Weighing incoming metals
Communicating over CB Radio & handheld two way radio.
Ability to work with minimal supervision.
Ability to work some weekend hours.
Ensuring trucks are within weight restrictions.
Metal sorting at the pick belt
Ground clean up and shoveling
Watch for jams on belts and other issues
Driving yard trucks (no license required)
Skid steer work
Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Job Type: Full-time

Schedule:

10 hour shift
8 hour shift

Experience:

Shipping & receiving: 1 year (Preferred)
Forklift: 1 year (Preferred)

Work Location: In person
