Lead Transmission Lines Engineer

Were looking for an experienced transmission lines engineer who can lead from the front. This role is about combining strong technical judgement with practical delivery working closely with clients namely Transpower and project teams to make a real impact on New Zealands transmission network.

What youll do:
- Lead and grow the transmission teams business including market strategy opportunity shaping and a key contributor to our Transpower relationships.
- Support proposals and bidding; build a healthy pipeline and forward workload.
- Plan and manage projects end-to-end (scope programme budget quality risk).
- Oversee end-to-end design of transmission lines including modelling structural design and foundations.
- Deliver and review design reports and key technical outputs.
What youll bring:
- Demonstrated experience working with Transpower with a strong understanding of their standards & systems and have existing relationships with key stakeholders
- Bachelors degree in Civil Structural Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).
- Proficiency in PLS software (PLS-CADD PLS-TOWER PLS-POLE).
- Strong commercial acumen and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Well established industry network in New Zealand and/or Australia with credibility across utilities contractors and regulators.
