We are currently recruiting for the role of Lead Intelligence Analyst to join the Analytics and Intelligence Operations team within the National Intelligence Centre. This position would suit an experienced Intelligence professional currently working as either a Senior or Lead Intelligence Analyst who wants to work in a dynamic environment applying best-practice intelligence tradecraft to a range of complex problems and issues.
The Analytics and Intelligence Operations cover a wide range of topics focusing on strategic and operational intelligence at both domestic and international levels. Outputs are used to inform deployment of resources understand the criminal environment and crime problems facilitate evidence-based action and prevention and support Police staff with planning and managing major events.
As a Lead Intelligence Analyst you will demonstrate professional curiosity and adaptive approaches to applying a range of analytical tools and methodologies to complex problems and issues. You will be an expert at establishing and maintaining sustainable partnerships including working with both national and international partners.
You will demonstrate advanced critical thinking and a team-focused approach to coaching and mentoring others. You will foster a positive and productive team culture and contribute to the development of intelligence capability and processes across the National Intelligence Centre.

Utu ā-tau Salary
This position is covered by a collective agreement and salary will commence at $110425.00 dependent on skills and experience relevant to the role.
