Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to serve in a Development Managerstyle role overseeing design-build project teams from concept through construction. This position bridges engineering development and constructionideal for a civil engineer who enjoys leadership coordination and big-picture project delivery.

Youll act as the technical and managerial point person ensuring projects are designed efficiently permitted correctly and constructed in alignment with scope schedule and budget.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage design-build project teams including civil engineers architects consultants and contractors
• Oversee site development design (grading drainage utilities roadway and infrastructure)
• Coordinate project planning from entitlement and permitting through construction completion
• Serve as owners representative and internal development lead on assigned projects
• Review and guide design documents to ensure constructability cost efficiency and code compliance
• Manage schedules budgets and risk throughout the project lifecycle
• Coordinate with municipalities regulatory agencies and utility providers
• Support value engineering efforts and resolve design or construction challenges
• Ensure alignment between design intent and field execution

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering (required)
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred (or ability to obtain)
• 5 years of experience in civil engineering land development or design-build construction
• Strong understanding of site development infrastructure and permitting processes
• Proven experience leading multidisciplinary teams
• Excellent communication organization and decision-making skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
• Experience working with developers contractors and public agencies
