CDnA - Manager Global Commercial Insights (Obesity)

What you will do

Lets do this. Lets change the this vital role you will the Global Commercial Insights Manager will support insights generation activities and support building market research capabilities within the obesity insights group. The role will provide deep market understanding to recommend concrete inputs using primary market research (qualitative and quantitative) strategic secondary analytics and synthesis of internal knowledge.

The individual in this role must have a consulting-type mindset and willing to solve ambiguous problems. They will integrate multiple sources and provide strategic partnership to support product strategy brand building and/or milestones for internal governance.

Flexible Commuter role to Thousand Oaks CA office. You will work on-site 3 days a week.

  • Integrate insights from a variety of sources (market research competitive intelligence secondary data) to address business needs
  • Plan design and conduct primary market research and translate findings into strategic and tactical recommendations to enable decision making
  • Turn unstructured business issues / requests into appropriate action plans and projects that result in high quality important and concrete deliverables
  • Clearly communicate ideas and insights via written or verbal presentation in the form of compelling stories that deepen customer understanding
  • Set priorities develop and manage multiple projects and timelines simultaneously

Basic Qualifications:

Doctorate degree

OR

Masters degree and 2 years of commercial insights or consulting experience

OR

Bachelors degree and 4 years of commercial insights or consulting experience

OR

Associates degree and 8 years of commercial insights or consulting experience

OR

High school diploma / GED and 10 years of commercial insights or consulting experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ability to extract analyze treat and consolidate data from different sources in clear and concise formats with rigor and high level of accuracy
  • Strong knowledge of drug development the pharmaceutical industry
  • Experience leading primary market research
  • Ability to think strategically to support key business decisions
  • Ability to work collaboratively in team-based environment across different functional groups
  • Excellent presentation skills with ability to explain complex concepts and controversial findings clearly to a variety of audiences including senior management
  • Skilled in prioritizing multiple responsibilities priorities tasks and projects simultaneously

The expected annual salary range for this role in the U.S. (excluding Puerto Rico) is posted. Actual salary will vary based on several factors including but not limited to relevant skills experience and qualifications.
