Role Overview

The Desktop Support Analyst is responsible for effective provisioning installation/configuration operation and maintenance of desktops laptops and related network infrastructure. This role participates in the day-to-day operations technical research and project development within Information Technology to enable continuing innovation within Magnets infrastructure.

Please note: This position is on-site at the Gothenburg office.

What Youll Do

Installing supporting and managing computer systems as well as analyzing logs and identifying potential issues;
Handling technical issues ensuring appropriate followup and delivering timely status updates;
Documenting internal procedures and knowledgebase articles for end-users;
Performing updates audit and configuration changes of systems and software as well as documenting the configuration of the system;
System monitoring/configuration verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware;
Understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) to support applications through testing and deployment;
Providing occasional support outside regular working hours as needed.

What Were Looking For

2 years of technical experience including administration and support of technical infrastructure;
Bachelors Degree or Diploma in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience;
Demonstrated ability in dealing well with ambiguity prioritizing needs and delivering measurable results in an agile environment;
Strong understanding of Windows Platform Apple OS X Apple iOS and Android based operating systems;
Strong understanding of Active Directory Office 365 networking technologies and web application environments;
Strong sense of teamwork personal integrity responsibility and accountability;
Highly organized in time management and documentation;
Strong self-starter attitude with excellent problem-solving skills.

The Compensation range is for the primary location for which the job is posted. Please note that the actual compensation may vary depending on location and job-related factors such as qualifications experience knowledge and skills.
