HOW YOULL MAKE AN IMPACT
Your Role:
- Under the direct supervision* of the Director/Pharmacy Supervisor/Pharmacy or a Pharmacist performs a variety of technical and clerical duties for the hospital-wide unit dose drug distribution system.
- * Direct Supervision: A pharmacist gives specific instructions on all assignments. A pharmacist reviews the technicians work for completeness and accuracy or the technician performs tasks with inherent checks built into the nature of the work.
- Responsible for maintaining confidential reports entering and retrieving data utilizing the computer system filling automated medication dispensing systems with a supply of unit dose medications procuring and filling requests for pharmaceutical supplies and delivering supplies to patient care areas.

- Director/Pharmacy (JC: 039358) Supervisor/Pharmacy (JC: 024601) or Pharmacist (JC: 021702)

WHAT YOULL NEED TO APPLY
***Must be registered with the State of Flordia and prepairing to take the Tech 1 test***
Required Education:
- High school diploma (or equivalent) and successful completion of a Florida Board of Pharmacy (FLBOP) approved pharmacy technician training program.
Required Experience:
Preferred Experience:
Six (6) to twelve (12) months of pharmacy experience.
Required Certification/License/Registry:
- FLBOP registration in accordance with Florida Statutes Title XXXII (Regulations of Professions and Occupations) Chapter 465 (Pharmacy) Section 014 (Pharmacy Technician).
- CPhT credential from the PTCB or the NHA within one (1) year post-hire.
