Position overview:

Youwill work directly with stakeholders across theorganizationincluding functional business leaders as well asengineersand managementtoleadbusinessprocess improvementcompletion of business-critical projects build project/deliverymanagement competency within theSREteamcomplete variousadministrationand operations tasksand evolvedelivery managementprocesses including reporting and tracking of projects hosting spend and security compliance.

You will work with teammates and stakeholders located in global time zones including US Pacific US Eastern Ireland UK Budapest Bangalore and Sydney.

Keyresponsibilities:

• Partner with engineering finance and product teams to track analyze and forecast AWS and cloud hosting spend across multiple services and environments.

• Lead ongoing cost optimization initiatives byidentifyingwaste working with technical teams to address the wasteoptimizethe spend and report to business leads on outcomes

• Partner with engineering teams to prioritize costreduction workstreamsand track execution againstcostoptimization goals.

• Management of process improvementand security complianceinitiativesforSRE

• Management of projects and process improvement involving the following process areas: AWS and cloud hosting cost optimization business process automation incident reduction and management network and systemsmonitoring procurement and others

• Serve as the mainpoint of contact for drivingplatformengineeringprojects including leading ofrequirements elicitation business case developmentstakeholder managementownership ofweeklyproject status meetings project updatesand projectrisksand dependencies

• Work withbusinessleaderstoidentifybusinessprocessgaps ideate throughimprovementsand developdetailed plansfor improvement implementation

• Tracking of projects post-implementation to assess business ROI against expectedoutcomes

• Direction and vision setting for projects and ability to align functional groups on project priorities
• Assist Senior Manager with building of strong relationships withSoftwareEngineeringProduct andSecurityleaders through project workbusiness process improvement and compliance efforts

Required Experience/Skills:

• 7 years of program or technical program management experience in a software cloud or infrastructure-focused environment.

• Hands-on experience managing cloud cost programs

• Experiencewith AWS cost management tools (e.g. Cost Explorer AWS Budgets Cost & Usage Reports)

• Familiarity withcloud architecture fundamentals (compute storage networking) and how design decisions impact cost

• Bachelors degree in business ITcomputerscienceor related field(or pursuit of advance degree in a related field)

• Comfortableorganizing and leading meetings with a broad group of stakeholders including executives

• General familiarity withengineering andbusinesstechsystems(AWSAzureAtlassian CortexPowerBi TableauAirtable O365suite)

• Ability towork in a highly collaborativeand fast-pacedenvironment

• Ability to manage project risks through a proactive approach and RAID log management

• Strong work ethic

• Interpersonal and people management skills

• Knowledge offormal project management methodstechniquesand tools

• Strong attention to detailregardingproject planning and documentation

• Excellent organizational skillsand attention to detail

• Task-oriented individual capable of taking ownership of projects and bringing them to completion

Preferred Qualifications:

• AWS andProject Management Institute(PMI)certificationsor other relevant certifications/trainingare a plus
