This is a permanent role working 35 hours per week at our 129-place Tall Tree Early Learning Landsdale centre. You must be available to work between 7:30am and 2:30pm.

About the Role:
As a Food Coordinator youll be responsible for preparing fresh age-appropriate meals for children aged 05. This includes accommodating dietary requirements managing kitchen cleanliness and ensuring a safe hygienic food preparation environment. Youll also play a key role in creating a positive food culture at mealtimes making it an enjoyable experience for our little ones. This is a hands-on role and youll be involved in everything from food prep to dishwashing.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
- Meal Preparation & Cooking: Prepare balanced nutritious meals and snacks tailored to childrens needs.
- Dishwashing & Kitchen Maintenance: Ensure dishes utensils and kitchen equipment are clean and hygienic upholding high standards of food safety and hygiene.
- Support a Safe and Nurturing Environment: Ensure children feel valued secure and supported at all times.
- Collaborate with Educators: Work alongside qualified team members to support childrens learning and development through healthy mealtimes.
- Engage with Children: Foster a positive food culture by helping children learn about healthy food choices.
What Were Looking For:
- Genuine Passion for Nutrition & Early Childhood Education: A love for preparing wholesome meals and a desire to positively impact childrens lives.
- Experience in Food Preparation: Previous experience working in a kitchen ideally in a childcare or education setting.
