Shift: PRN; 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Join Our Wound Care Center Team and Make a Difference in Healing Lives. At Trinitys Wound Care Center we provide specialized outpatient services for patients with chronic non-healing wounds on both sides of the river. Our clinics treat a wide range of conditions including burns compromised skin grafts diabetic foot and lower extremity wounds malignant wounds necrotizing infections osteomyelitis pressure ulcers soft tissue radiation injuries and venous leg ulcers.
As a Wound Care Nurse you will coordinate the clinical activities of the center applying your expertise in assessment planning implementation and evaluation to deliver care in accordance with hospital and nursing standards. You will work collaboratively with patients families and the interdisciplinary team to develop individualized care plans that promote healing comfort and improved quality of life.

Responsibilities
Provides case management wound assessments treatments and patient/caregiver education.
Prepares patients and assists providers with exams treatments and minor procedures.
Obtains medical histories collects and prepares specimens and documents patient care.
Administers medications schedules tests and responds to patient inquiries.
Collaborates with healthcare providers program directors and other staff to coordinate care.
Adheres to regulatory standards maintains required licenses/certifications and demonstrates professionalism and teamwork.
Qualifications
Education:
- Diploma from an RN program.
License(s)/Certification(s):
- Current licensure in good standing to practice as a Registered Nurse in primary state.
- Must apply within 90 days for licensure in secondary state.
- Must possess and maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Must possess and maintain ACLS
