Reporting to the Director Civil Rights Compliance and under general direction the Senior Program Manager ADA Compliance (ADA) is responsible for management of the agencys ADA program. The Senior Program Manager - ADA is responsible for monitoring and implementing the Agencys ADA program to ensure compliance with all applicable federal/state laws applicable Federal Transit Administration guidelines and requirements and other applicable regulatory agency guidelines. Supports and may lead the development of related policies and programs oversees and may conduct complaints and investigations prepares the ADA Program and reports and creates and delivers training and technical assistance.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

- Coordinates with departments on applicable federal requirements for reviews and audits develops responses and develops audit and review mitigation and corrective action plans.
- Develops oversees and may facilitate ADA training.
- Provides technical assistance on ADA issues to staff contractors and operating partners.
- Creates and conducts outreach programs that support and expand the mission of the ADA Program; coordinates with Marketing and Communications Department to create a communications strategy and message for the ADA Program.
- Translates ADA best practices into readily consumable resources and programs aligned to business needs.
- Conducts research into current rules and regulations create new and modified policies obtain legal guidance as required analyze relevant information to compile reports and advise management.
- May monitor and report Prime/General contractor sub-contractor and sub-recipient ADA compliance; recommend corrective action when appropriate; conducts ADA on-site compliance reviews.
- Participates and attends meetings with interest groups community-based organizations and regional partners as appropriate.
- Supervises trains coaches and motivates the ADA compliance team; coordinates and provides training and growth opportunities assists in the management of the workflow and prioritization of projects.
- May lead and/or support special projects.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

- Valid drivers license. This position is responsible for field inspections and attending community events when public transportation might not be available.
Required Knowledge and Skills:
- Advanced knowledge of ADA compliance requirements (ADA).
- Applicable Civil Rights laws rules regulations and policies.
- Exceptional program/project management skills and a proven ability to manage a complex portfolio of work.
