Responsibilities - This part-time position is responsible for admitting patrons to The Center of Clayton accepting program registrations and membership sales providing general information and customer service.
The Center of Clayton is looking for reliable dependable friendly enthusiastic employees who enjoy helping people and providing amazing service. Ideal candidates will have excellent customer service skills prior cash handling experience and enjoy working with a variety of people in a busy environment. This position is responsible for admitting patrons to The Center of Clayton accepting program registrations and membership sales providing general information and customer service. This is an excellent opportunity for students retirees who want to stay active and individuals wanting to supplement their income. These are part time (12-28 hours/week) positions for shifts on Saturday and Sunday afternoons and weekday mornings with future opportunities for weekday afternoons and evenings.
Ideal qualifications include:
- Prior retail parks and recreation receptionist or similar experience.
- Excellent verbal written and computer skills
- Excited about maintaining a warm friendly atmosphere for guests and staff while maintaining high standards
- Dependable self-starter who can work both individually and as part of a team.
- Applicants must be available for year-round employment
- Certification or ability to obtain certification in Red Cross First Aid CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer preferred.
- Must be at least 18 years of age with high school education or equivalent.
Applicants must be available for year round employment. This is not a seasonal position.
The Center of Clayton is a full-service community center which offers the ultimate experience in sports fitness swimming recreational educational and lifestyle enhancing programs. The Centers 136000 square feet includes four gymnasiums two pools hot tub a suspended jogging track weightlifting aerobic/dance areas a 30-foot climbing wall classrooms lounge Subway Restaurant and meeting rooms. The Center of Clayton is located at 50 Gay Avenue Clayton MO 63105 and is part of the Clayton High School campus. Part-time staff enjoy membership privileges at The Center.
