Assignment Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a night shift contract assignment at a skilled nursing setting. This role focuses on providing high-quality nursing care to residents while working collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure patient safety and comfort.
Assignment Details
Duration: 13 weeks
Schedule: 37.5 hours per week (Guaranteed)
Shift: Night Shift
Facility Type: Skilled Nursing Facility
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct nursing care to residents in accordance with established care plans
Monitor patient conditions document changes and report findings to supervising nurses or physicians
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed and in compliance with facility policies
Assist with activities of daily living and support resident comfort and safety
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in patient medical records
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to deliver coordinated care
Adhere to infection control safety and regulatory standards
Respond appropriately to emergencies and resident needs during overnight hours
Qualifications
Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of New York
Minimum experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting preferred
Strong clinical skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently during night shifts
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Compensation
Gross Weekly Pay: $1624.50
W2 Rate: $17/hour
Weekly Stipend: $987
