Job Summary
Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and responsible intern for a full-time 8-week summer this position you will gain hands-on experience under the guidance of our talented professionals. This position will be based onsite (not remote) at Wonderful Citrus located in Delano CA. This schedule for this internship is 40 hours per week Monday-Friday. Days of the week and work hours may change due to business needs.
Heres what youll do:
- Assist with general administration duties
- Support procurement reporting and spend analysis
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce costs
- Assist with the purchasing of MRO materials and related supplies to support operational needs
- Assist with maintaining accurate and up-to-date records in the ERP system for purchase orders supplier data and contract information
- Contribute to impactful projects across different regions of the business (CA TX NJ) alongside all our interconnected departments (Operations Logistics Accounting)
Qualifications :
Heres what youll bring to the table:
- Must be a active Wonderful Scholar
- High School Diploma/General Education Diploma and currently pursuing a Bachelors degree in Business Supply Chain Management or related field
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook Word Excel PowerPoint)
- Emphasis on Microsoft Excel (pivot tables formulas and data analysis)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Self-directed and able to work autonomously
- Energetic and eager to tackle new projects and ideas
Pay Rate: $18.50 per hour.
