We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Sr. Analyst to support our People Analytics team in maintaining high standards of data quality and governance across the HR data ecosystem. This role will play a critical part in executing data validation supporting governance frameworks and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the accuracy consistency and compliance of workforce data.
Responsibilities:
Data Quality Operations
- Perform regular audits and validations to ensure the accuracy completeness and consistency of HR data.
- Identify and resolve data discrepancies in collaboration with HRIS and IT teams.
- Monitor data quality metrics and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Governance Support
- Assist in maintaining the HR data dictionary and metadata documentation.
- Support the implementation of data governance policies and procedures.
- Help coordinate data stewardship activities and ensure adherence to governance standards.
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Work closely with HR People Analytics and IT teams to understand data requirements and support governance practices.
- Provide training and documentation to promote data quality awareness among HR stakeholders.
- Participate in cross-functional governance forums and contribute to data-related projects.
Tools & Reporting
- Utilize tools such as Workday SmartRecruiters and Power BI to support data quality monitoring and reporting.
- Develop and maintain dashboards that track data quality KPIs and governance compliance.
- Prepare reports and insights for leadership on data quality trends and issues.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Information Systems Data Management HR or a related field.
- 46 years of experience in data quality governance or HR analytics.
- Familiarity with HR systems (e.g. Workday) and data structures.
- Proficiency in Excel and data visualization tools (Power BI).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualification:
- Experience in People Analytics or similar HR-focused roles.
- Understanding of data privacy regulations (e.g.; GDPR CCPA).
- Exposure to data governance frameworks or certifications (e.g. DAMA CDMP).
