WHATS THE JOB
We are seeking an innovative and detail-oriented Co-op Student to join our iLab team. This role is ideal for a student with a strong technical background in Artificial Intelligence (AI) data management and system integration. You will play a key role in improving access to information enhancing system documentation and supporting large-scale data entry initiatives to ensure accuracy usability and impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in improving access to internal systems and ensuring data/documentation is well-organized accurate and easy to retrieve.
- Support the integration of AI-driven tools and techniques to enhance data processing analysis and workflow efficiency.
- Conduct large-scale data entry with high attention to detail ensuring information is clean structured and consistent.
- Collaborate with the iLab team to design and implement process improvements for data management and system accessibility.
- Contribute to documentation efforts making technical systems more user-friendly and impactful for diverse stakeholders.
- Perform ad hoc research and technical tasks to support ongoing innovation projects within the lab.
Qualifications :
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR
- Currently enrolled in a post-secondary program in Computer Science Data Science Engineering Information Technology or a related field.
- Foundational knowledge of Artificial Intelligence Machine Learning or related AI applications.
- Strong technical and analytical skills with experience in data entry data management or system documentation.
- Familiarity with databases data visualization tools or workflow automation is considered an asset.
- Excellent problem-solving skills attention to detail and ability to work independently or in a collaborative team environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Additional Information :
This role is a temporary full-time position for 16 weeks in total. The primary work location will be remote with the opportunity to work out of our Dexterra Group corporate office 1-2 days a week.
Hybrid or remote; preference for candidates in proximity to a Dexterra office (e.g. Toronto Vancouver Calgary Thunder Bay etc.)
Standard 40 hour weekdays
Minimal travel unless participating in optional site visits or internal events
