Large Animal Veterinary Surgeon New Graduates

The Vet Office is working with several well-established large animal and mixed veterinary practices across Ireland that are actively looking to welcome new graduate veterinary surgeons with an interest in farm and production animal medicine.
This is an excellent opportunity for newly qualified vets who want to build strong clinical foundations gain confidence in farm work and develop their career in a supportive and structured environment.
The Role
- Large animal / farm animal veterinary work (cattle sheep some mixed exposure depending on the practice)

First-opinion clinical work with progressive responsibility

Exposure to herd health fertility lameness medicine and routine procedures
-
On-call duties with full backup and mentoring
-
Roles available across different regions of Ireland
Support for New Graduates

Excellent graduate support and mentoring

Senior vets always available for guidance

Structured induction and gradual increase in responsibility

Strong focus on learning confidence building and retention

Friendly close-knit teams used to supporting new grads
CPD & Development

CPD actively encouraged and supported

Salary & Benefits

Salary range:DOE

Paid CPD and professional fees

Vehicle provided or mileage covered (practice dependent)

Work permits and relocation support available for eligible candidates

Requirements
EU Veterinary Degree
-
Veterinary degree recognised in Ireland
-
Eligible (or in process) for VCI registration
-
Interest in large animal / farm practice
-
Good communication skills and a positive proactive attitude
