$82200 annual full-time salary package - includes base salary ($93299) plus employers contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading(pro-rata paid on hours worked)

About the role
As an Education Support Officer in Nursing youll help students build confidence as they learn new concepts and practical skills. Youll support learners oneonone and in small groups offering guidance encouragement and simple followup instruction that keeps them engaged and progressing. Working closely with Teachers youll bring tutoring plans to life across both facetoface and online environments.
Youll also lend a hand with basic documentation and daytoday tasks that keep the section running smoothly. From time to time you may travel locally to support students while theyre on placement. This temporary parttime role is a great way to experience working with TAFEwhether youre exploring a future in education or looking to balance this work alongside your nursing career.
Note: This role does not teach or prepare lessons or resources and does not deliver training nor undertake assessment.
About You
You enjoy helping others succeed and can explain ideas in a clear friendly and practical way. You thrive in an adult learning environment and feel confident motivating students from all backgrounds as they work through their Nursing studies. Building strong relationships comes naturally to you and you take pride in contributing to a team that puts learners first.
Youre also comfortable with technology using tools like Microsoft Word Excel MS Teams or Zoom to support students both on campus and online. You communicate well show initiative and bring a calm organised approach to your workmaking you a valued part of the teaching team.
