Trade Compliance Specialist

The Role:

Our site inChaska MN or Billerica MAis seeking aTrade Compliance Specialistto join our teamThe Trade Compliance Specialist willbe responsible fora broad range of export compliance activities including but not limited to: AES filings export licensing auditingand recordkeeping. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and externalpartnersincluding freight forwarders and governmentagenciesto ensure compliant and efficient export operations.

WhatYoullDo:

• Manage Global Trade Services (GTS) compliance activities including releasing blocked documents and resolving issues in collaboration with Customer Service Product Management and Shipping teams.

• Conduct customer and destination screening against denied party lists and embargoed country regulations.

• Prepare andsubmitElectronic Export Information (EEI) filings through the Automated Export System (AES) for applicable export shipmentsin accordance withregulatory timelines.

• Support the issuance administration and tracking of export licenses including monitoring license usage andexpirationdates.

• Managemaintain and troubleshootAgilePointcompliance workflows.

• Ensureaccuratemaintenance of ECCN HTS andcountryoforigindata within SAP GTS and other corporate systems.

• Maintainand adhere to standard operating procedures to ensure ongoing trade compliance.

• Ensure all export activitiescomply withapplicable regulations including OFAC EAR ITAR DEA FDA and other relevant export control requirements.

• Performadditionaltrade compliance andexportrelatedduties as assigned.

What We Seek:

• 35 years of progressive export trade compliance experience within a global manufacturing environment.

• Preferred experience with SAP GTS or other global trade compliance and screening software platforms.

• Demonstrated knowledge of commodity classification including ECCN and HTS assignments and related regulatory requirements.

• Strong working knowledge of Export Administration Regulations (EAR); familiarity with other export control regimes is a plus.

• Excellent analytical organizational and written and verbal communication skills.

• Proficient in Microsoft 365 applications including Word Excel Outlook and Teams.

• High attention to detail with a strong focus on data accuracy and compliance integrity.

• Proven ability to multitask prioritize competing demands and meet critical deadlines in afastpacedenvironment

OutstandingCandidatesWillHave:

• Bachelors degree with a minimum of2years of experience in export trade compliance.

• Export Compliance Professional (ECoP).

• In-depth knowledge of EAR ITAR OFAC and CBP regulations.

• Compensation: $65000 - $85000 per year with actual pay dependent on candidate overall skills for the role
