Job Description/Preferred Qualifications

• Plan schedule and monitor the movement of material through the production cycle and new product builds.
• Determine material requirements from production schedules engineering BOMs.
• Coordinate the efficient movement of materials with purchasing production stock room and engineering to ensure timely availability.
• Review and track shortages and run shortage meetings with the procurement and sub assembly team.
• Escalate critical part shortages to management that will jeopardize the ship schedule.
• Plan and release subassembly work orders for the tool.
• Prioritize and track sub-assemblies ensuring they are completed and available on the shelf before tool kitting begins.
• Maintain the work order bill of materials ensuring it supports efficient material flow and aligns with the assembly process.
• Collaborate with engineering for new product work order releases and material planning.
• Ensure engineering change orders are approved and work orders are updated accordingly .
• Review backorders related to the tool line.
• Create reservation requests for internal department part requests.
• Create delivery documents and close work order variances coordinating with the stock room.
• Understand manufacturing capacity and allocate resources as required to meet build plan commitments.

Preferred Qualifications:

• BS degree 2 years related experience in a manufacturing environment OR
• AS 5 years related experience in a manufacturing environment
• Proficient in Excel Data analysis ERP system; preferable SAP.
• Detail oriented process driven highly collaborative committed to accuracy.
• Ability to manage priorities and work in a fast-paced technical manufacturing environment.
• Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement principles

Minimum Qualifications

Masters Level Degree and 0 years related work experience; Bachelors Level Degree and related work experience of 2 years; Functional experience with SAP for Planning and/or Materials Management

Base Pay Range: $61900.00 - $105200.00 Annually
