About the Role

As a Travel Mental Health Registered Nurse you will provide high-quality patient-centred mental health care in inpatient community and outreach settings. Youll work with individuals experiencing acute and chronic mental health issues collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver evidence-based interventions.

Key responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive mental health nursing care to patients across acute sub-acute and community settings
• Conduct risk assessments safety planning and crisis intervention
• Administer medications and manage treatment plans in accordance with NSW Health protocols
• Collaborate with psychiatrists psychologists social workers and allied health teams
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation
• Support recovery-oriented care and patient advocacy

• What youll need
• Current AHPRA Registration (Registered Nurse Division 1)
• Minimum 1 year recent Mental Health nursing experience
• Strong clinical assessment and therapeutic communication skills
• Current working rights in Australia (urgent non-sponsorship role)
