About the Role
As a Travel Mental Health Registered Nurse you will provide high-quality patient-centred mental health care in inpatient community and outreach settings. Youll work with individuals experiencing acute and chronic mental health issues collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver evidence-based interventions.
Key responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive mental health nursing care to patients across acute sub-acute and community settings
- Conduct risk assessments safety planning and crisis intervention
- Administer medications and manage treatment plans in accordance with NSW Health protocols
- Collaborate with psychiatrists psychologists social workers and allied health teams
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
- Support recovery-oriented care and patient advocacy

- What youll need
- Current AHPRA Registration (Registered Nurse Division 1)
- Minimum 1 year recent Mental Health nursing experience
- Strong clinical assessment and therapeutic communication skills
- Current working rights in Australia (urgent non-sponsorship role)
