NURSING SUPERVISOR - RN
West Salem Clinic is hiring a qualified Registered Nurse to provide the direct supervision of the nursing staff.
Location: West Salem Clinic 1233 Edgewater St. NW Salem OR 97304
Job Status: Full-time Monday Friday with rotating Saturdays
POSITION OVERVIEW:
As our Nursing Supervisor you will assign and delegate work to the nursing staff coordinate monthly department meetings and monitor staff compliance to policies and procedures. Designs and implements efficient workflows to support departmental goals and ensure high-quality patient care.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Monitors staff conformity to policies and procedures.
- Conducts application screening and interviews.
- Participates as an active member of the supervisory team.
- Advises Clinical Services Director regarding personnel actions including evaluations promotions discipline and dismissals.
- Participates in provider quality assurance supervisory Joint Commission and all staff meetings.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Graduate of state-approved school of nursing.
- Current Oregon RN license.
- Minimum of two years nursing experience six months to one year of outpatient clinic experience.
- One year of supervisory experience required.
- De-escalation training or crises management training strongly preferred.
