What this job involves:

This position works closely with the Assistant Program Delivery Manager and internal vendors to facilitate and support local Amazon events taking place in key buildings within Amazon corporate offices specifically focusing on Large Production Venues (LPVs). You will manage comprehensive event responsibilities including processing customer requests coordinating planning meetings with stakeholders and vendor partners managing space preparation and providing on-site event coverage. This role contributes to JLLs business objectives by serving as a vital communication hub between Facilities Catering AV Reception Janitorial and Engineering teams while ensuring successful event operations in high-profile Large Production Venues that enhance client satisfaction and support Amazons corporate objectives.

What your day-to-day will look like:

  • Process event requests and correspond with Amazon customers while coordinating planning and walkthrough meetings with vendor partners for LPV events
  • Disseminate information to large audiences including alerting building occupants and vendors of event-related impacts in Large Production Venues
  • Provide on-site coverage and troubleshooting during high impact events in LPVs to ensure successful operations
  • Organize and compile event data metrics while creating and maintaining standardized event documents specific to Large Production Venues
  • Respond to and act on customer feedback while supporting good inter-vendor communications between multiple teams
  • Create and update documents to track metrics clarify procedures and organize team tasks as needs arise for LPV operations
  • Support Events Program Manager with additional duties and maintain professional relationships with contractors and employees.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent 4 years of experience preferred
  • 3 years of experience in event coordination or event administrative support
  • Advanced competence with MS Word MS Excel MS Outlook and other software programs
  • Ability to perform basic business math including discount interest percentage and profit/loss calculations
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written with strong grammar and proofreading abilities
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail with positive professional customer-service oriented personality
  • Ability to work independently with little direction while maintaining initiative for additional responsibilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3 years of experience in facilities management
  • Microsoft Visio or CAD experience for space planning and layout coordination in large venues
  • Experience with Large Production Venue operations and high-impact event management
  • Background in multi-vendor coordination and communication management for complex events
  • Understanding of event logistics including space preparation and on-site troubleshooting in large-scale venues
  • Experience interpreting instructions in written oral diagrammatic or schedule form for venue-specific requirements.
