The company has a flagship VPN application with over 1B downloads ensuring online privacy and anonymity for our users by creating a private network from a public internet connection.
They also offer a suite of connectivity and privacy products including eSim and 2nd Phone Numbers.
Now company hiring the first growth PM to drive growth initiatives across multiple products and focusing on mobile.
Role Overview
As the Growth Product Manager you will own and optimize our product-led growth funnel from conversion all the way through activation and retention with data-driven experimentation and product innovation. You should be part PM part marketer and part data analyst.
Responsibilities:
- Own the Growth roadmap and initiatives across all devices and platforms focusing on mobile (web and email as potential additional responsibilities)
- Work cross-functionally with design engineering user research support business to drive growth across acquisition sign ups onboarding activation engagement retention monetization and referrals
- Design prioritize execute and analyze A/B tests and growth experiments to optimize pricing paywalls user education feature adoption referrals etc.
- Launch and optimize user engagement (in-app messages notifications tooltips) to educate users drive engagement and improve monetization
- Analyze user behavior and user segments across web and mobile surfaces to identify improvements
- Build dashboards and frameworks to track performance and guide decision-making
Requirements:
- Experience: 5 years of growth product management experience focusing on mobile (which can include growth product management product marketing or analytics)
- A strong track record in growth activation feature adoption or monetization at consumer software companies
- Prior experience building and scaling consumer subscription or freemium products
- Hands-on experience with A/B testing platforms product analytics and data visualization tools.
- Ability to clearly prioritize and impact-driven
- Analytical: Strong command of data fluent in SQL with a proven ability to self-serve insights. Comfortable using data science and experimentation tools.
- Customer-Obsessed: Deeply understand user motivation and behavior; obsessed with increasing user value
- Able to collaborate effectively in a cross-functional remote environment
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Self-motivated energetic able to work independently and comfortable moving quickly
- English - advanced spoken and written
Preferred experience:
- Experience with customer engagement software (e.g. Braze CleverTap OneSignal etc.)
- Experience at a VPN company
- Technical: Comfortable getting your hands dirty with product instrumentation APIs or light code as needed.
