We are looking for a passionate Senior Regional Director to join our team and make a difference in Liberty Region which is comprised of Eastern Pennsylavia (including Philadelphia) Delaware and parts of upstate New York.
As a Senior Regional Director youll play a pivotal role in mentoring teens and delivering leadership training managing staff to create impactful and fun programs and managing program budgets and calendars for Jewish teens. Alongside your teammates youll connect in a dynamic environment and create a positive impact on teens our community and the world.
SHAPING THE FUTURE FOR TEENS AND YOURSELF
As a Senior Regional Director your responsibilities will include:
- Managing a team of professionals to achieve goals around membership experiences and participation.
- Coach and mentor teens to implement annual calendar of impactful high quality and fun programs including regular leadership training
- Supervising direct reports with an expectation of high performance strong culture and promotion.
- Recruiting training and building a strong community of volunteer advisors.
- Seeking out and cultivating relationships with parents alumni and community partners to mobilize more people to grow and support BBYO
- Utilizing data to drive decisions in building a robust member recruitment process
- Coordinate and lead execution of regional conventions and large scale events.
- Managing and balancing a major programmatic budgets.
- Participating in organizational projects teams and summer programs as assigned to expand the movement and strengthen teen leadership.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS FOR MAKING A LASTING IMPACT
Our team has an entrepreneurial spirit and a passion for innovation to drive positive change. Additionally for Senior Regional Directors these skills are key to success:
- Experience: 5 years of work experience
- Education: A bachelors degree or higher
- Abilities: Management experience preferred. Experience with youth or teens is preferred
- Must reside in the the Greater Philadelphia area and be willing and able to travel regularly within the region.
- Attend all regional conventions and major events BBYOs staff conference and staff BBYOs International Convention each year.
- Ability to staff a summer leadership program for 2-3 weeks during summer
- Ability to work non-traditional hours (some nights and weekends) when teens are available
- Unrestricted authorization to work in the U.S. without holding a visa or sponsorship.
- To perform this job successfully the individual must be able to perform each essential duty/function with or without reasonable accommodation in accordance with applicable law.
