Job Summary
About the Role
An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced CNC Machinist to work afternoon or night shifts producing precision gas engine components. This role involves operating and setting up CNC equipment in a clean organized and team-focused manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC lathes mills grinders shapers and manual machines
- Machine grind and test parts to engineering and customer specifications
- Inspect parts to ensure compliance with blueprints and manufacturing standards
- Visually check components for defects burrs or surface damage
- Maintain accurate part identification records and documentation
- Communicate shift handover information clearly
- Perform routine machine and equipment maintenance
- Keep the work area clean and organized following manufacturing standards
- Support other related duties as needed
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 4 years of machining experience with lathes mills or grinders
- Ability to read blueprints and manufacturing specifications
- Understanding of GD&T fundamentals
- Experience with precision machining preferred
- Familiarity with aerospace materials is a plus
- Ability to work assigned shift:
- 2:00 PM 10:30 PM or
- 10:00 PM 6:30 AM
Physical Requirements
- Lift to 50 lbs
- Push/pull up to 60 lbs
- Grip strength of 50 lbs
- Ability to reach above shoulder height
Compensation & Perks
- Pay range: $25 $37.50 per hour
