We are currently seeking a full-timeMedical Records Supervisorto join our team at Sumter Correctional Institutionlocated in Bushnell Florida.
The Medical Records Supervisor is responsible for directing planning coordinating and administering the written and Electronic Medical Records (EMR) program. This professional is responsible for supervising and managing department operations and maintaining a complete accurate healthcare record while supervising the medical records staff and maintaining the confidentiality of the healthcare records.
Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm
Qualifications High school diploma or GED equivalent required
Three (3) years of supervisory experience in medical records setting preferred
Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
Medical terminology knowledge and/or medical terminology course completion preferred
Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience preferred
Ability to obtain a security clearance to include drug screen and criminal background check
