A highly respected specialty and emergency referral hospital in Southern California is seeking a Veterinary Specialty Medical Director to lead a large collaborative team of specialists and emergency clinicians.
This role is ideal for a clinician-leader passionate about medical excellence mentorship and hospital culture who wants to play a key role in shaping the future of specialty veterinary care in a busy referral environment.
The Medical Director will work closely with hospital and regional leadership to support clinical quality doctor development strategic growth and team engagement while maintaining an optional clinical caseload depending on interest.

Leadership Responsibilities

Ideal Candidate

Board-Certified Veterinary Specialist or experienced Emergency Veterinarian

Compensation & Benefits
Compensation is negotiable based on experience and credentials with base salary starting approximately $150000 $300000 annually plus leadership incentives.
