The Ideal Candidate
Were looking for a Veterinary Assistant who brings clinical competence emotional intelligence and a strong work ethic to every shift. You play a critical role in patient care client education and keeping our hospital running smoothly.
Youll thrive in this role if you have:

Clinical & Animal Handling Skills: Experience assisting with exams treatments diagnostics and basic nursing care

Organization & Attention to Detail: You can juggle multiple responsibilities while maintaining accuracy

(Veterinary or medical experience preferred; licensure welcomed but not required depending on role.)
What Youll Do
As a Veterinary Assistant at Southern Hills Animal Hospital youll be a vital part of our medical team including:
Assisting veterinarians during exams treatments and procedures
Safely restraining and handling patients with care and confidence
Supporting diagnostics lab work and medical recordkeeping
Educating clients on patient care treatments and follow-up needs
Maintaining a clean organized and efficient treatment area
Collaborating with teammates to ensure smooth daily operations
