Summary:
As the senior on-site manager for the Rampayne Street Community Hub you will be the driving force behind a vibrant inclusive and safe space for Westminster residents. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring a proactive individual to oversee daily operations manage a dedicated team and ensure the facility serves as a vital resource for the local community. You will balance operational excellencesuch as health safety and budgetingwith the creative challenge of designing programs that truly reflect the needs of the neighborhood.
Responsibilities:
- Take full responsibility for safeguarding protocols health and safety regulations and ensuring the building remains a compliant and secure environment for all users.
- Design implement and oversee a diverse schedule of community activities. Collaborate with residents and voluntary organizations to ensure programming is responsive to local priorities.
- Oversee the hub budget monitor spending and track key performance indicators (KPIs). Deliver regular reports on community impact outcomes and operational learning.
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with Council services local partners and the voluntary sector to enhance the hubs reach and resources.
Essentials:
- Experience managing the practicalities of a physical site including facility maintenance oversight and operational troubleshooting.
- Proven track record of working within a community hub community center or a high-traffic public-facing environment.
- Demonstrable experience in managing staff and/or volunteers ideally in a social or community-led setting.
- Experience handling budgets and monitoring service impact through data or qualitative feedback.
- Solid understanding of safeguarding practices and health and safety legislation relevant to public buildings.
