Job Summary

This position will be based at any Palm Oil Mill (POM) across Sarawak subject to managements decision. Therefore priority will be given to candidates who are flexible and open to relocation.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES (Supporting Mill Manager)

1. Mill Management and Administration
- Daily operational coordination
- Labour Management
- Administration and Documentation

2. Mill Planning and Strategy
- Verifying Forecasting milling production profit revenue and cost of production
- Formulate workers planning
- Verify maintenance plan and schedule
- Resource allocation

3. Mill Operational & Project Development
- Reinvestment
- System modernization
- Infrastructure development
- Talent development (Upskilling and reskilling)

4. Performance and Revenue Generation
- Track production efficiency quality metrics and operational KPIs.
- Identify bottlenecks improve workflows and implement best practices to maximize output.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or safety.
- Align workforce performance with revenue goals through incentive programs or performance metrics.
- Implement programs to enhance operational efficiency reduce downtime and boost productivity.
- Optimizing mill utilization

5. Sustainability and compliance
- Environmental sustainability
- Social and labour compliance
- MSPO Certification
- Stakeholder engagement
- Compliance with all relevant Malaysia Act/Law

JOB REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year in palm oil mill operation or equivalent in engineering field
- Willing to relocate to Sarawak
