Job Summary
Job Title: Senior QA Automation Engineer E-Commerce / API Testing
Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior QA Automation Engineer with extensive experience in API and end-to-end testing particularly in e-commerce platforms. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in Robot Framework (Python) UI automation and CI/CD integration with a strong background in regression performance and monitoring for both test and production environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform end-to-end testing of applications with a focus on REST and event-based API services
- Design develop and execute automated test scripts using Robot Framework (Python)
- Develop UI automation using Playwright Selenium or equivalent frameworks for cross-browser testing
- Plan execute and maintain manual and automated regression testing to ensure complete coverage of business flows
- Conduct performance and load testing using tools like k6 LoadRunner integrated into CI/CD pipelines
- Define and maintain monitoring and alerting for test and production environments
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Git Jenkins or GitHub Actions
- Manage test cases execution and defect tracking using Jira QMetry or similar tools
- Collaborate with developers product managers and stakeholders to ensure high-quality releases
- Analyze and troubleshoot defects and production issues providing actionable feedback for improvements
Required Skills & Experience
- 6 years of experience in software testing with a focus on API testing and end-to-end validation
- Proven experience testing e-commerce platforms; exposure to Hybris is a strong plus
- Hands-on expertise with Robot Framework (Python)
- Experience with Playwright Selenium or equivalent UI automation frameworks
- Strong background in manual and automated regression testing
- Familiarity with performance and load testing tools (k6 LoadRunner)
- Practical experience with CI/CD pipelines Git Jenkins or GitHub Actions
- Experience with test management tools such as Jira QMetry or similar
- Excellent analytical troubleshooting and communication skills

Start Date: Immediate
Work Mode: Hybrid
Language Requirement: English (Excellent written and verbal skills)
Form of employment: Full-time until further notice we apply 6 months probationary employment.
