The HR Business Partner role plays a key role in aligning people strategies with business objectives while ensuring consistent and effective HR operations across the organization.
Role Purpose & Success Outcomes
Purpose: Support business leaders by delivering people solutions that improve performance engagement and organizational effectiveness.

- People initiatives are implemented consistently and aligned with business priorities.
- Recruitment and workforce planning activities meet agreed hiring and capability benchmarks.
- Performance competency and development frameworks are applied accurately across departments.
- Employee relations matters are addressed promptly and escalated appropriately when required.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy Support
- Support business leaders in executing people strategies that improve performance and employee experience.
- Analyze HR trends and metrics to provide input into HR programs policies and engagement initiatives.
- Coordinate with HRD and HR teams to ensure consistent implementation of people initiatives across the business unit.
Talent Acquisition
- Participate in recruitment activities including interviewing and evaluating candidates from intern to supervisor/manager level as assigned.
- Support workforce planning by collecting hiring needs monitoring recruitment progress and proposing actions to accelerate hiring pipelines.
Workforce & Organization Management
- Maintain and regularly update organization charts and departmental structures.
- Support the consolidation of departmental objectives and ensure alignment with overall business planning.
Competency & Career Development
- Assist in implementing competency frameworks promotion assessments and talent planning activities.
- Consolidate training needs and build learning plans aligned with competency requirements.
- Collaborate with HRD to review and approve learning and development activities.
Performance Management
- Provide guidance to departments during performance assessment cycles and probation evaluations.
- Support the rollout of new performance evaluation methods when introduced.
Employee Relations & Business Support
- Support the resolution of employee relations issues by gathering information coordinating with stakeholders and escalating complex cases to HRD.
- Act as a communication bridge between employees and business teams to ensure timely follow-up.
- Stay informed on market industry and internal performance dashboards to provide relevant HR insights.
Candidate Profile
Education & Qualifications
Professional Experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in HR roles such as Employee Engagement Talent Acquisition or HR Generalist (required).
- Experience in business partnering or generalist functions is a strong advantage.
- Experience working in fast-paced organizations with approximately 200 employees or more (required).
Technical Skills
- Solid understanding of local employment law and HR practices (required).
- Ability to work with HR metrics dashboards and structured HR processes (required).
- Experience supporting competency frameworks and performance management systems is a nice-to-have.
