Graphic Designer (Mid Shift)

Job Purpose

• Work closely with regional and local Bids & Proposals teams.
• Provide ideas for communicating through images rather than
• Manage and maintain all graphics related files such as images infographics etc. for transmittal and production.
• Responsible for leading and addressing challenges related to the overall proposal presentation development scheduling and production etc. within the pursuit team.
• Align with the marketing team to promote consistent application of the Arcadis brand standards.
• Communicate effectively with technical operations client development sales & marketing.
• Create designs and propose production schedule for planning purposes.
• Work with the pursuit team to carry out creative work from conceptualization pre-press to post-production while maintaining original design intent messaging and quality standards throughout the process.
• Develop templates for all types off sales documents including for bespoke Strategic Pursuits.
• Manage workloads and priorities within challenging fast-paced and energizing environment to consistently meet multiple deadlines while providing high-quality designs.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities of this role include but are not limited to:

• Proposal Template Development and Formatting: Creating modifying and working in highly complex documents (In Microsoft Word or PowerPoint) using features such as Headers/Footers styles protection tables columns content controls quick parts bookmarks fields table of contents and many other features.
• Troubleshoot and problem-solve document or file issues such as fonts artwork or other depictions graphs tables etc. and determine best course of action.
• Administration support to tasks e.g. Request Management System ad hoc program support
• Manage version and quality control of documents and materials.
• Able to manage workloads and priorities within challenging fast-paced and energizing environment to consistently meet multiple deadlines while providing high-quality designs.
• Design and manage production of bids and proposal presentations posters digital banners advertisements videos.
• Develop and use creative ideas and designs to showcase the Arcadis brand.
• Design/artworking for all printed and digital assets such as brochures adverts presentations etc.
• Work with a wide range of media and using the Adobe CC as well as Microsoft Applications

• Think creatively and share knowledge and ideas to enable new design concepts graphics and layouts to support regional campaigns

Knowledge & Experience

• Bachelors degree in Arts/Design Creative Multimedia Advertising/Media or an equivalent experience in the field
• Proven graphic & multimedia design experience with minimum of 5 years.
• knowledge in Adobe Creative Cloud applications
  • Fundamental apps
    • Adobe Photoshop: Intermediate/Working Experience
    • Adobe Illustrator: Intermediate/Working Experience
    • Adobe InDesign: Intermediate/Working Experience
  • With experience in creating and editing videos
    • Adobe Premier Pro: Basic/Intermediate
    • Adobe After Effects: Basic/Intermediate
    • Adobe Audition and Media Encoder: Fundamentals
  • With insight and experience in other creative apps is a plus
• UI/UX knowledge or experience is a plus.
• Knowledge in Microsoft Office tools MS Word MS PowerPoint
• Possess creative flair versatility conceptual ability.
• Demonstrate graphic design skills with a strong portfolio across print and digital assets.
• Up to date and skilled with fundamental Graphic/Multimedia design industry leading software and technologies
