PrintmakingGraphic Arts Student Assistant

• In consultation with faculty and staff schedule visiting artists maintain consistent communication and provide on-site support and hospitality as allowed.
• Assist in coordinating with Faculty and Visiting Artists on material needs. Track and maintain supply inventories and requests for all programming.
• Assist in the creation of promotional materials and announcements for all visiting artist workshops and printing events.
• Assist with preparation of digital files for output in the fab lab as needed including the laser cutter and CNC router. Some training will be provided as needed.
• Assist in coordinating with faculty and staff on all programmatic needs including but not limited to supplies scheduling virtual lectures AV needs etc.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Demonstrates excellent organizational and communication skills with high attention to detail.
• Demonstrates basic knowledge of some Printmaking processes.
• Demonstrates knowledge of ADOBE Photoshop and illustrator and Video Editing Software.

• Undergraduate students must be registered/enrolled in a minimum of six (6) Fall/Spring units.
• Post-baccalaureate students in a graduate program must be registered in a minimum of four (4) Fall/Spring units.
