Job Summary
Skilled Groundworker Heavy Civils & Road Formation
Join Coinford specialists in groundworks and concrete frames. We are currently looking for an experienced Skilled Groundworker to support long-term heavy civils road formation and infrastructure works across our projects.
Role Requirements (Essential):
Proven experience as a Skilled Groundworker within heavy civils environments
Strong background in road formation earthworks and associated groundworks activities
Ability to work from drawings levels and site documentation
Competent in setting out preparation works drainage support and general civils tasks
Good understanding of ground conditions backfilling compaction and quality control
High attention to detail to ensure works are completed to specification and programme
Ability to carry out daily plant and equipment checks and report any issues to site management
Strong awareness of health & safety requirements when working around plant and excavations
Desirable:
CPCS/NPORS Dumper ticket (highly beneficial)
Additional plant tickets (e.g. Roller) advantageous
Experience working within an established groundworks or civils gang
35 years experience on heavy civils or infrastructure projects
General Expectations:
Reliable punctual and professional attitude
Able to work collaboratively with supervisors plant operators and other trades
Committed to maintaining high safety and quality standards on site
