A worker hired on a temporary basis to cover certain duties or positions. These roles are paid hourly (in the US) and contracted through a staffing provider (Kinetix Pinnacle Upwork or other approved staffing provider). There is typically a billed rate (hourly rate mark up rate). This includes payrolled employees (individuals paid but not sourced by a staffing provider such as a former team member brought back for a limited engagement). Qualifications of candidates are reviewed by a company manager to ensure fit for the temporary role.
