St Vincents Health Australia is a national leader in compassionate innovative healthcare. Our Virtual & Home division (SVVH) is transforming how care is delivered using digital innovation and home-based models to create a more connected and equitable health system.

As the Business Analyst you will support the design development and optimisation of digital health and service delivery initiatives.

You will work closely with clinical operational technical and executive stakeholders to analyse demand translate complex data into actionable insights and support scalable sustainable models of care.

You will play a critical part in enabling data-driven decision-making supporting digital health innovation and improving patient outcomes through insight-led service design.

Key Responsibilities

  • Elicit analyse and document business and user requirements for digital health initiatives.
  • Analyse operational clinical and financial data to identify trends gaps and opportunities.
  • Develop dashboards reports and insights to support decision-making and performance monitoring.
  • Research population demand demographics geography and funding impacts.
  • Map and improve workflows and processes to enhance efficiency and patient experience.
  • Support innovation through AI automation and digital health solutions.
  • Facilitate workshops interviews and user journey mapping sessions.
  • Maintain high-quality documentation including business cases requirements and process maps.
  • Support governance reporting risk management and benefits realisation activities.

About You

Essential

  • Demonstrated experience as a Business Analyst (healthcare digital health or service design preferred).
  • Strong analytical problem-solving and data interpretation skills.
  • Experience in requirements gathering process mapping and stakeholder engagement.
  • Proficiency in data visualisation and reporting tools (e.g. Power BI Tableau).
  • Excellent communication facilitation and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work in agile cross-functional teams.

Desirable

  • Experience in virtual care aged care or health service delivery.
  • Familiarity with human-centred design and co-design approaches.
  • Understanding of healthcare funding regulation and digital health standards.
  • Experience in not-for-profit or mission-led organisations.

Qualifications

  • Tertiary qualifications in business marketing health administration or a related field.
