Job Summary
As Sr. Senior Platform Engineer III youll provide platform engineering expertise for containerized environments supporting mission-critical workloads designing and operating Kubernetes platforms while contributing immediately within a disciplined Agile delivery model.

What youll do:
- Work as part of a collaborative and high-performing team delivering technical solutions within the highest levels of the federal government.
- Design and operate Kubernetes and container platforms supporting mission-critical workloads.
- Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation.
- Ensure platform scalability reliability performance and security.
- Participate in Agile execution planning and continuous improvement activities.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in complex environments.
- Communicate platform status risks and technical decisions clearly to stakeholders.
- Establish and maintain a high level of customer trust and confidence through technical expertise and professionalism.
- Use creativity and engineering judgment to deliver innovative solutions that meet customer needs.
What youll need to succeed:
- An active Top Secret with SCI eligibility security clearance.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline is preferred; Relevant experience may be substituted for education.
- 10 years in systems or DevOps engineering such as at least 3 years with Kubernetes and container platforms.
- Hands-on experience with AL/ML on Kubernetes Rancher Helm Docker Cilium Rook Ceph MinIO S3 and PortWorx.
- Experience managing CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation.
- Required certification: Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA).
- Possess a DoD 8140 DCWF Role of 451 System Administrator with certifications such as Cloud GICSP GSEC Security or SSCP.
SALARY RANGE: $184000 - $258000
The salary range for this position is determined based on qualifications skills and relevant experience. The final salary offered will be determined based on several factors including:
- The candidates professional background and relevant work experience
- The specific responsibilities of the role and organizational needs
- Internal equity and alignment with current team compensation
- This role is also eligible for additional compensation subject to the terms and policies of MetroStar which may include:
- Performance-based bonuses
- Company-paid training and/or certifications
- Referral bonuses
