Job Summary
Location: Sacramento CA (Remote-Northern California)
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Software Engineer with extensive expertise in systems analysis database development and programming. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in electronic data processing business systems design and Oracle PL/SQL development and will have leadership roles in prior projects.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Experience in Electronic Data Processing: 7 years in systems study design and programming with 6 years in a lead capacity.
- Systems Analysis: 7 years of experience in systems analysis specification development and documentation.
- Oracle Development: 5 years of hands-on experience in Oracle database development.
- Programming: 7 years of experience with languages such as PL/SQL Python and/or Java for data manipulation and integration.
Responsibilities:
- Lead system study analysis and design initiatives for large-scale IT projects.
- Conduct data modeling and develop database components using Oracle SQL and PL/SQL.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system requirements and deliver robust solutions.
- Troubleshoot complex system and data issues identifying root causes and corrective actions.
- Write technical specifications process documentation and system architecture diagrams.
- Ensure performance optimization and implement security best practices in all developed systems.
- Mentor junior developers and analysts on best practices coding standards and methodologies.
Education:
- Bachelors or Masters degree or Ph.D. in Information Technology Engineering or a related field.
