YOUR NEW ROLE

Kickstart your career in live events with a paid internship at the Sydney Opera House.

Youll gain hands-on experience across key operational areas from lighting staging sound and AV broadcast stage and production management and account management. Youll work on real projects alongside experienced industry professionals. This opportunity is designed to build your confidence grow your practical skills and give you a valuable insight into the many pathways within production and events helping you take your next step into the industry.

By the end of the internship you will have developed skills outlined in thisrole description.

ARE YOU THE ONE

  • Applicants must be of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander descent identify as being an Australian Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander and accepted in the community.
  • Recently graduated from a Live Production or Events course in a relevant discipline such as Technical Production Production and Stage Management Arts Administration

  • Eager to gain hands-on experience and learn from industry professionals while demonstrating strong organisation reliability and the ability to work effectively in a team environment

  • Based in Sydney for the internship duration.

  • Good communication skills and well-developed interpersonal skills

  • Demonstrated ability to work cooperatively within teams and across multiple disciplines to ensure completion of work
