Procurement Officer

As Procurement Officer you will be responsible for managing the procurement for allocated segment for completion of process till execution. You will be working towards daily review of PRs RFQ issuance preparing QEM / proposal obtaining approval as per SOP negotiating and issuing PO or Contract. You will also follow delivery vigilance on documentation & payment process and ensure transparent transactions and team monitoring for compliance

What will you do:

• Core Procurement Successful competitive bidding awarding PO / Contracts under collaboration with all stakeholders. Guide RFQ process to support team for less than one million cases under strict vigilance. Lead cash procurement monitor transaction transparency and verification of rates of relevant areas. Maintain and ensure complete confidentiality at all steps while processing all cases.

• Developing Sources Explore new sources and develop preferred vendor list for critical items identify alternate sources. Working on SRM for resolving issues / reconciliation to maintain smooth business. Disseminate and promote company policies on Business Ethics Safety Health Environment SCC ETI Code etc. Develop liaison with all internal and external stakeholders through correspondence and telephone.

• Monthly Reporting - Prepare monthly progress report of PRs POs SAP Ariba saving initiatives other KPIs.
• Continuous Improvement Continually improve processes and encourage paperless working through SAP. Initiate SAP Ariba projects and utilize it as common tool for RFQ process PO creation on SAP and maintaining soft records.
• Compliance Ensure compliance to SOPs company policies procedures. Facilitate team compliance promote safety culture keep vigilance on safety hazards and report to safety observations.

What will you bring:

• 4 years of bachelors in Accounts / Finance / Business / Supply Chain
• 6 months to 4 years practical experience of procurement at manufacturing sites (Preferably with MNCs)
• Strong computer expertise in SAP MS-Office
