DescriptionYour main responsibilities will include:
- Carry out design review and approval work for piping systems pollution prevention process systems lifesaving and fire safety disciplines for ship and offshore units (MOUs).
- Review documentation according to Class Rules Statutory Regulations and International Standards.
- Participation in meetings and act as technical resource for customer.
- Project Manager for small/medium projects.
- Participate in execution of proposals.
- Carry out Maritime advisory work.
- Support further development of DNV Rules/Standards/RPs as they relate to relevant disciplines.
- Document and report project analyses and results clearly and within deadline.

QualificationsTechnicalQualification:
- At least Bachelors Degree relevant for the intended work including Naval Architecture Marine Chemical or Mechanical Engineering.
- 10 years experience is desirable.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English is required.
- Native in Portuguese language.
- Having previous experience with classification and statutory rules.
- Good technical knowledge and understanding of the Maritime business.
- Valid CREA.
Personal Qualities:
- Be self-motivated and result oriented.
- Flexible service-minded and with a positive attitude.
- Honest open and committed to DNVs visions and values.
- Works in a systematic and structured manner.
- Team player.
- Able to handle external and internal customers professionally.
