Position Summary

We are seeking a knowledgeable and engaging Technical Trainer to join our this key role you will deliver hands-on training and learning experiences for new and existing team members across our manufacturing operations. Youll play a vital role in developing skills driving safety and ensuring team readiness to meet production goals with excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Training Delivery: Facilitate hands-on technical training sessions in areas such as equipment operation safety quality and standard work procedures.
  • Onboarding Support: Lead new hire orientation and initial skills training for manufacturing roles to ensure readiness for production.
  • Curriculum Development: Create revise and maintain training materials standard operating procedures and visual aids to support learning objectives.
  • Competency Assessment: Evaluate learner performance through practical assessments and provide constructive feedback for improvement.
  • Collaboration: Partner with supervisors team leads and subject matter experts to identify skill gaps and implement targeted training.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate training records track progress and support audits or compliance reviews.
  • Continuous Improvement: Gather feedback and monitor effectiveness of training programs; recommend improvements for greater impact.

What You Bring

  • Experience in delivering technical or skills-based training in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage diverse learning styles.
  • Working knowledge of manufacturing processes safety practices and equipment operation.
  • Ability to create clear user-friendly training materials and instructional guides.
  • Comfortable using technology including learning management systems (LMS) or training tracking tools.
  • A commitment to safety learning and team development.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Working Conditions

  • This position requires time on the production floor as well as in classroom or meeting settings.
  • Must be able to stand or walk for extended periods and occasionally lift training materials or equipment up to 25 lbs.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts or overtime based on training schedules or business needs.
