Job Summary
Job Summary: This Employee will be responsible for putting edge banding on boards per customer specifications while following company standards. Direct contact with departmental supervisor or manager with periodic evaluations as needed
Duties and Responsibilities
- Verification that product being used is correct
- Check product as necessary to address quality concerns and defects
- Operating Edge Band machine
- Adjust the machine depending on thickness of edge band
- Cutting Wood according to requirements
Knowledge Skills and Abilities
- Repetitive motion able to bend push/pull reach grasp twist and lift up to 50 pounds daily
- Able to stand all day
- Basic computer math reading skills and comprehension
- Able to learn quality standards
- Following directions/procedures and knowledge of product
- Communication within department and with Managers/Supervisors
Special Requirements
- Excellent attendance
- Ability to read measuring tape
- Correctly use calipers
- Ability to pass background check and a drug screening
